Hey John,
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to
you. We have been incredibly busy. I've
kinda been wanting to send you some pics but
have'nt had the chance to get any team pics
yet. Your knife has been a valuable asset to
my gear and I would gladly let alot of other
things wander off before I let go of my
knife! I ended up mounting it on the front
of my safariland dropleg and that has worked
out great. Thanks for a perfectly balanced
piece of equipment that will be cherished,
used, and passed down. The knife is as
beautiful as it is a workhorse. I can't
imagine getting called out without it.
Anybody in my line of work should give some
serious thought to investing in one of your
blades because when your life is on the
line, nothing but the best equipment will
do.
Thanks again John for your craftsmanship and
attention to detail, it is appreciated on a
daily basis.

I was hoping to have them by mid
March, if that's possible. I have
no trouble imagining that your hawks
are quite popular. I liked mine so
much I used it for a model to have
tattooed across my shoulder. I'll
have to show you some time cause I
bet you can easily pick out your
distinctive pattern in the blade.
So as far as being swamped, I guess
that's the price you pay for being
so damn good!

John,
I received the Bob Horrigan Fighter today, and I simply cannot the find words to
describe the workmanship. The master effort, which went into crafting this knife, is
evident and the final product goes above and beyond all of my expectations--I couldn't be more
pleased! Over the years I have owned many knives; yet, all fail to measure up by comparison
to the craftsmanship of this knife. This knife is second to none, and a fine tribute to
your brother Bob.

for posting that hunter Bowie -- it happens to be one
of my very favorite knives in all the world, and I'm
fortunate (VERY fortunate) to be the steward of this
beauty. John's Hunter Bowie is one of the finest
looking knife designs, IMO, in the knife world. I've
listed after one for years after running across his
website some time ago. I've since had the pleasure of
spending time in his shop, and this guy is SERIOUS
about knife making. (incredible sheaths, awesome
engraving, killer laminates, etc...)
On a personal level, John is a true gentleman,
gracious and generous. I feel blessed to be able to
call him friend.
